The Senator representing Kwara Central, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe, The former Vice-Chancellor off the University of Ilorin, Prof Shuaib Oba AbdulRaheem and the Ilorin West Local Government aspirant, Owoyale Hassan has felicitated with Muslims on the occasion of Eid-el-fitri celebration marking the completion of the holy month Ramadan.

The chairman Senate Committee on Health and the Senator representing Kwara Central at the National Assembly, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has felicitated with the Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitri celebration marking the completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

Oloriegbe in his congratulatory message enjoined the Muslim across the nation particularly his constituents to celebrate in modesty considering the fact that the world is just healing from the wounds of COVID-19 pandemic. 

The lawmaker also charged them to sustain the virtues of the Ramadan which he said are the best for humankind.


Similarly, The Former Vc University of Ilorin Prof. Shuaib oba AbdulRaheem, congratulated Muslims on the occasion of Eid-el-fitri.


Prof Shuaib oba, in a statement signed on his behalf by member of his Media Team, Comrade Abdulwahab Alafara said, it was imperative on all those who participated in the fast to be guided by the lessons derived from the Holy month, saying that it would amount to a waste of time, energy and resources if Muslims failed to exhibit the habit of generosity, piety and patriotism, among others, which they were inculcated with during the sacred month


Also, The Ilorin West Local Government aspirant, Owoyale Hassan felicitated with the Muslim community on the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr. 

In his congratulatory message, Owoyale urged Muslims across the world to use this period in preaching love and harmony and seek God intervention over the deadly Coronavirus that has put the world on its knees. 

He advised celebrants to stick to the directives of Federal Government and Kwara State Government in curtailing the spread of Covid-19 by maintaining social distancing and avoid social gathering during the celebration of the holy festival.
