The Chairman senate committee on Health and the Senator representing Kwara Central at the National Assembly, *Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe* has joined the number of personalities across the globe to mourn the death of the late Chief of Staff to the Nigerian President, Mallam Abba Kyari who passed on, on Friday after a lost battle to the COVID-19 related illness.

In a condolence message signed by the lawmaker, he described the deceased as an exact definition of loyalty judging by his unflinching supports to the President against all odds.

“The death of the late Chief of Staff is a devastating blow not only to Mr President but the nation as a whole. Aside from being a trusted ally and a right-hand man who stood with Mr President with all his endowments, he is a respected elder statesman who served his fatherland diligently and meritoriously before he passed on to the world beyond while still serving.

"His undiluted relationship with President Muhammadu Buhari qualified him to be referred to as 'an exact definition of loyalty'. He is an ebullient character who lived an exemplary life. He is also known to be a  principled man, the reason why his character was misunderstood and misrepresented by many, especially those who were judging him from afar.

"Malam Kyari's death with his wealth of experiences both in private and public services is no doubt a huge loss to this nation at this critical period. We are surely going to miss him.

"I commiserate with  President Muhammadu Buhari, the Federal Executive Council, the government of Borno State and the immediate and extended family of Mallam Abba over this heart-shattering loss.  May Almighty Allah forgive all his shortcomings and reckon him amongst dwellers of Janah.
