- Dr. Amuda Aluko was born on the 30th October, 1938, he attended Ilorin Middle School (now GSS) (1948-1950), Barewa College, Zaria (1950-1952), School of Hygiene, Kano (1953-1955), Kano Medical School (1955-1961) before proceeding to the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London (1967-1968) for his Post-Graduate Diploma.
- Dr. Amuda Aluko was until his death a member of various Professional associations, some of which include Member of Nigeria Medical Association, Member of Association of General Medical Practitioners of Nigeria, Direct Member of the World Organization of National Colleges of Academics and Associations of General practitioners among others too numerous to mention.
- Dr. Aluko was at various times the Medical Officer-in-Charge of Sokoto General Hospital, Birnin Kebbi General Hospital, Katsina General Hospital, Kafanchan General Hospital, Jos General Hospital, Okene General Hospital, Lokoja General Hospital, Idah General Hospital, Offa General Hospital, Pategi General Hospital, Ilorin General Hospital and Estate Medical Officer, Nisuco Bacita all between 1961 and 1972.
- Dr. Aluko served as member of numerous Boards like the Provisional Council of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (1972-1974), member governing council of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (1974-1980), Member of the Board of Directors, Kwara State water Corporation (1977-1979), Sole Administrator, Kwara State Scholarship Board (1979-1981), member governing council, University of Lagos, Member National Constitutional Conference, Abuja (1994-1995), Member National Reconciliation Committee (1995-1998) and Chairman, Federal Medical Centre, Katsina (2005-2007).
- Dr. Aluko was honoured with the prestigious traditional title of Tafida Ilorin, in November 1986 by His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Sulu Keinani Gambari, Emir of Ilorin (1986) and was also given a National honour, Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) by the Dr. Goodluck Jonathan government in November 2011.
