Sen. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe representing Kwara Central at the National Assembly as described the death of a lecturer in Nigerian Law School, Enugu Campus, Barr. Ibrahim Sa'ad popularly known as "Lawyer Gbendu" as "a loss to many".

Oloriegbe in his condolence message to the family, friends and associates of the deceased lamented that; "the occurrence is a heart-shattering one considering his numerous impacts to the developments of his immediate community, Ilorin as well as Kwara State as a whole. Ibrahim's death is beyond the loss of his family; it is "A loss to many" he said.

The lawmaker also extolled the virtues of the deceased noting that he was a good brother to him, and a personality that endeared himself into the heart of people with his peace-loving and bridge-building characters.

Oloriegbe, however, enjoined the deceased survivors to take solace in the fact that he lived a purposeful life that will keep his memories alive, praying to Allah to grant him eternal rest in Janatul Firdaus.
