The Chairman, Board of Trustees of SOBI 101.9FM, Mall am Lukman Olayiwola Mustapha have described the death of Dr. Amuda Aluko as a personal loss, stressing that the deceased was one of the highly revered father figure of the Rebirth family.
Mustapha popular called Rebirth Captain by admirers, made this disclosure in a condolence message signed by his media team and made available to newsmen in Ilorin.
It reads "It was with rude shock I woke up to the news of death of one of humanity's finest, Dr. Amuda Aluko, the Tafida of Ilorin, who was in all ramifications a father figure to me.
"This is undoubtedly a great loss to Ilorin, Kwara, humanity andthe indeed the Rebirth family which he was one of the key father figure until his death.
"The death of Dr. Amuda Aluko, the Tafida of Ilorin is a personal loss to me and the Rebirth family as a whole. He was one of the guidance angel, God sent to always reassure us of the light at the end of the tunnel, during our aspiration to govern the State, after the primaries and untill his last breath.
"I am personally pained that his death has denied the Rebirth family, Ilorin emirate and indeed Kwara his fatherly and often prophetic counsel.
"Although he died a fulfilled man having actualised a liberated Kwara which he invested his time, finance, contact and intellectual know-how to see to fruition, he nonetheless died when his guidance, advice and experience were badly needed in this phase of Kwara's democratic, leadership and governance trajectory.
"I pray God accept his return, forgive him his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest and may he give his immediate family, political son, Ilorin and the whole of Kwara the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss" he prayed
