The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) has called on the Kwara State Government to fortify security at Kwara Borders with other states, most especially during evening and at night, as people are moving in and out of the State during these aforementioned time, despite the lockdown order.

The statement jointly singed by the National President of the association, Alh. Abdullahi Babatunde Salaudeen and the National Publicity, Alh. Mohammed Uthman Jagunma stated that the rate of influx of people into the state during the night is very alarming, and need to be checked if the battle against the spread of the deadly coronavirus COVID-19 in the state is to be won.

IEYDA eulogised the Kwara State Government, under the able leadership of Governor Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman for all the mechanisms put in place to curb the spread of coronavirus in the state, and for its thoughtfulness in providing palliative food materials to the less-privileges across the state. The association promised its continues support for the state government in the fight against the Pandemic, amongst others.

It also appreciated the Health Workers who are working round the clock to treat those that have contracted the virus and for all they are doing in containing the virus from spreading in the state, with prayer that God should continue to protect them and reward them abundantly.
