" This is some of my thoughts shared today on Rape for a webinar.
I believe many of us here are all adults & we've been hearing of 1 rape case or the other for weeks now
We prove to be living a holy and sacred lifestyle in our societies & communities whereas, we do the unholy things off camera and in the dark
Honestly, growing up to becoming an advocate for this or that, rape was never part of things I want to talk about because I grew up having this feeling that it's a Taboo to talk about it
The society made it look like it's not just meant to be talked about whereas we should talk about it to both the young, old, learned, illiterate, skilled, unskilled and so on.
We've made the abnormalities normal to kids growing up
The answer is simple... For any problem or situation we find ourselves, it is never too late to turn back to right the wrong.
So I always ask myself this question, WHY IS SEX EDUCATION DIFFICULT TO TEACH YOUNG PEOPLE?
Where do we right this wrong? .
The answer is simple... FOR ANY PROBLEM OR SITUATION WE FIND OURSELVES, IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO TURN BACK TO RIGHT THE WRONG.
Speak against RAPE
END RAPE CULTURE.
Stop victim shaming.
SPEAK OUT WHEN RAPE HAPPENS
