Adigun commends Governor Abdulrazaq's massive investment in health sector














A medical practitioner turned politician has commended Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq over his administration's massive investment in the health sector.

The Sanmora born politician made this disclosure through a press release personally signed by him and made available to newsmen in Ilorin today, describing the stride as "populist and masses oriented".

"As a medical practitioner, I can't but applaud the massive investment of the administration of His Excellency, Executive Governor of Kwara State Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in the health sector, understanding the implication of quality health infrastructure and system on socioeconomic wellbeing of our people.

"Within a year, this government did not only rehabilitate primary healthcare centers (PHCs), but also demolished some of the dilapidated hospital structures and rebuilt them from the scratch. This feat is replicated across the State.

"Construction of infectious disease center and procurement of ventilators in response to the COVID-19 pandemic speaks volume of the visionary leadership of Abdulrazaq-led Kwara state government", he added.

"While saluting the sacrifice and resilience of the health workers in the State, which Dr. Adigun described as "outstanding", he urges Kwarans to support the government and take responsibility in participatory governance by helping government to ensure public facilities in their respective domains are duly maintained and not vandalized.
