Kwara State Governor, Mall. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the Senatorial representing Kwara Central, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe, The Director General NILDS, Prof Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulyman have mourned Khalifah al-Adaby Sheikh Ahmad Olayiwola Kamaldeen Al-Adaby who died on Friday in Ilorin.
Gov. Abdulrasaq in a Statement signed by his Spokeperson, Rafiu Ajakaye commiserated with the Muslim community in the state over the death of the Khalifah al-Adaby Sheikh Ahmad Olayiwola Kamaldeen Al-Adaby, praying the Almighty Allah to repose the soul of the erudite scholar and retired technocrat.
The Governor commiserates with the family of the eminent scholar, the entire Muslim community, and the Adabiyyah family worldwide on this unfortunate development. We pray Allah, the oft-forgiving and merciful, to forgive the Sheikh, grant him al-jannah Firdaus, and keep the great households of Sheikh Kamaldeen and our other departed leaders forever on the right path of faith, goodness, and piety.”

The senator representing Kwara Central at the Red Chamber of the National Assembly, Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has mourned Khaleepha Ahmad Olayiwola Kamaldeen whose death was announced yesterday.
According to press Statement Made available to this Medium Sen Oloriegbe expressed rude shock about the death of the late vicegerent of the first Mufty of Ilorin, Late Shaykh Muhammad Kamalud-Deen Al-Adaby. He expressed that he is consoled by the fact that the late Khaleepha lived a life worthy of emulation.
While extolling the virtues of the deceased, Oloriegbe said, "The late Alhaji Ahmad Olayiwola Kamaldeen was a cosmopolitan individual, a seasoned administrator and indeed a great scholar of Ilorin extraction.
"This is a man that had left his footprints in the sand of history as a former principal of GSS Ilorin which is one of the earliest schools in the whole of Northern Nigeria, later as a permanent secretary before capping it off with commissioner for education in the state. He was a peripatetic preacher and a notable public figure whose immense contributions to the education development in Kwara State will never be forgotten.
"Though we are pained by his death, we shall take solace in the fact that the late khaleepha impacted greatly on his immediate environment and he will be greatly missed not only in Ilorin but the entire state and the country at large."
The senator who is an alumnus of Ansarul Islam Secondary school, Ilorin, also pledged his continuous supports to Ansarul Islam society and the entire Adabiyyah family.
Senator Oloriegbe prayed to Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him Aljanatul firdaous.
Also, The DG, NILDS, Prof. Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman sympathise with the Family, Emir of Ilorin and entire Ilorin Emirate over the death of our Father Late Fadhilat Sheykh Olayiwola Kamaldeen Khalifatul Addabiyah.
Prof. Abubakar described the former Commissioner of Education and Permanent Secretary to the state as a man who uses his vast knowledge of both Arabic and Western education to make great impact in developing the system of education for the generations in the state. He see education as only means of eradicating poverty and promote self intellectual to contribute meaningful to the society.
The Statement further reads : "Late Sheykh Olayiwola Kamaldeen spent his entire life to propagate Islam like his father Al-Marhum Mufti Kareem Fadhilat Sheykh Kamaludeen Habeebullah Al-Adabiyy may Allah be pleased with him. He preach Importance of Knowledge, Peace, Unity of Allah and Goodness in all ramifications to the Muslim Ummah with the reference to Qur'an and Sunnah."
