The former Senate president, Dr Bukola Saraki, has condoled with the family of late Hajia Halima Kabir Gaya, the wife of Senator Kabir Gaya.

Saraki in a statement posted on his official Twitter handle expressed sadness over the death of Hajia Halima, said she was greatly committed to the growth and development of the people around her through education. 

Saraki tweeted : "I offer my heartfelt condolences Senator Kabiru Gaya over the passing away of his wife, Hajia Halima Gaya. Hajia Halima was greatly committed to the growth and development of the people amissed.

I pray that Allah forgives her sins and grants her Aljannah Firdaus. I also pray that Allah strengthens her family to bear this great loss."
