The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development ( IEYDA ) has distributed Eid-l-fitri package to over 50 vulnerable Muslims across the Ilorin Emirate.

The packages which contain Live chicken, Rice, Beans, Palm oil, Semovita, Tomato paste, Salt and spaghetti were distributed across the five local government of Ilorin Emirate which includes Ilorin west, Ilorin East, Moro, Ilorin south and Asa local government.


Speaking with SHO PEN ONLINE shortly after distribution the National President of IEYDA, Alh. Abdullahi Babatunde Salaudeen described the Package Initiative as one intended at putting smiles on the faces of the less-privilege, so as to make them have a very special Eid-L-Fitr Celebration in their various homes. He added that the IEYDA would also prepare Special Meal for Muslim Prison Inmates at the Oke-kura Correctional Facility on Sallah Day.


The National Publicity Secretary, Alh. Mohammed Uthman Jagunma in his own remark stated that IEYDA is determined to bring succor to indigents who are finding things difficult, most especially during the festive period.

Jagunma added that the Package is coming at the back of several programmes; ranging from COVID-19 Palliatives for less-privilege, Ramadan Food Package for Vulnerable, Special Iftar and Sahur for Muslim Prison Inmates at Oke-kura Correctional Facility, and to the very last one which is #1.7million Lailatul-Qadr Empowerment Programme for 121 Widow/Aged/Pety Traders.


One of the beneficiaries, Mr Abdullah Adam who identified himself as a residents of Idi Ape Ilorin expressed his heartfelt gratitude to IEYDA, and prayed that Almighty Allah should put surprising smiles on the faces of the Financiers of IEYDA, Board of Trustees, Executives and Members of IEYDA.
