The National publicity Secretary of  All progressive Congress, Mall. Lanre Issa Onilu through his Vanguard Empowered some less Privileged in Kwara State.

The beneficiaries which was selected from Ilorin West and Ilorin East were given the Sum of N10,000 Each.

According to the information obtained by this medium the beneficiaries include Petty traders, market women, the widowed, the Aged, artisans and other needy bodies.

Speaking with our correspondence shortly after the Empowerment program The Chairman of the Vanguard, Mall. Ahmed Oganija said the gesture is to improve self sufficiency among our people through small scale business by providing the capital.

He said : "we would like to assure the general public that we remain committed to our roles a Vanguard with clear motives. The people's wellbeing is our ultimate concerns and we shall not fail to do our best whenever is required.

"We must also appreciate your support and encouragement over the years. It's our hope that remain supporting to help us in our role as relief giver to the society." He added.

However, Oganija appreciates Mall Lanre Issa-Onilu for his kind gesture to the community at all times, Prays for Allah blessing upon him and his family always.

In his Statement the Publicity Secretary of the Vanguard, Comrade Olororo Abdulateef raised his voice to eulogize Onilu described him as the Shining light illuminating the paths of others to progress.
