NUT Suspends Kwara Chairman Over Fraud Allegations | Shopenonline





The Nigeria Union of Teachers has suspended the Kwara State chairman of the Union comrade Toyin Saliu, over allegation of fraud levelled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The National chairman of the Union Dr Nasir Idris who was represented by the first vice president of the union Kayode Akoshile, made the announcement a press briefing  today at the teachers house in Ilorin.

Also suspended by the union is the state secretary comrade Jamiu Idris and the account clerk comrade Tijani Lateef.

The Deputy chairman of the Union comrade Olú Adewara has been asked to assume office with immediate effect as the acting chairman while the assistant Secretary comrade Aremu Rasheed Mayaki has been asked to assume the position of acting state secretary.
