Honourable Yusuf, a stalwart and the Vice Chairman of Ilorin West Local Government defect to APC amidst party crisis and battle for Ilorin West Local Government Chairmanship.

It would be recalled that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has earlier suspended the local government Chairmen on the ground out corruption. 

While speaking with newsmen In Ilorin, Honourable Solihu said, it is his pleasure to be among elders of Alanamu as their contributions towards the development of their communities and state at large cannot be overlooked.

He said "APC Alanamu elders have overtime shown how committed they are to the development of the state and with their timely support for the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, one won't have reasons not to join hands with them in building Kwara of our dream



It is no more news that Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq since his inception in office has hit the ground running and he has been doing wonderfully well in amending the rots in the state over years, which with the support of well-meaning Kwarans will result to economic stability, poverty eradication, job creation that will contribute immensely to the state development.

"We should all know that Kwara is the only state we can claim as ours and the development of the state should be our utmost priority. We should at all time do away from politics of hooliganism and hatred, and we should know the fight against corruption is a fight we should all engage in," Yusuf concluded.
