The Founder, Fresh Insight which comprises of an Online TV, Newspaper and Foundation have been appointed the Head of Communication and Public Affairs of the African Youth Parliament, the parent body of all youth of African extraction.
According to the letter dated 05/04/2020 with reference number Ref: 20/AL/0023/AYP/SP, he was appointed based on his track record of being a fast rising public relation expert with bias for fighting for an egalitarian society.
It reads partly "Your appointment followed recommendation and ratification of the apex body of AYP at the last extraordinary meeting of executive members, held between 20th - 25th November, 2019.
Your appointment which takes immediate effect from 5th April, 2020, makes you the official communication link between AYP and the entirety of our 57 African member States and indeed the whole world.
It is expected that you will bring your wealth of experience as a Journalist, public and corporate relations expert to bear on this new assignment" it reads.
Akogun however promised to bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new assignment promising to leverage on his contact in the media to positive push the ideas of the organization towards ensuring that the African Youth are given its rightful position in national, regional, sub regional and indeed the continent of Africa as a whole.
