The Bauchi state government has on Monday announce the self isolation of His excellency sen bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON the executive governor of Bauchi state 

This development is sequel to the report from the Nigeria center for disease control (NCDC) that the son of the former Vice Presidents of Nigeria Mohammed atiku Abubakar was tested positive to the covid19 upon his return from an international trip through Lagos 

It would be recall that gov bala Muhammad who was recently returned from an official trip in Lagos met with Mohammad atiku in the Aero contractors aircraft whey they shook hands and exchange pleasantries 

So far the governor did not exhibited any symptoms of disease but based on the the recommendation of NCDC he will remain in isolation in order to avoid the risk of coronavirus 


Currently the blood sample of the governor has been taken and is undergoing clinical test . For the period of clinical testing the governor and his entourage will remain isolation pending the outcome of the clinical result
